With more than 60 years of hosting weddings, Holdsworth House is built for larger celebrations that need space, organisation, and attention to detail - all within a historic Jacobean manor in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Our large wedding packages cater for 60 to 120 daytime guests and up to 150 in the evening. From guest numbers and layouts to food, timings, and the personal touches, our specialist wedding team works with you to make the day run smoothly and feel completely yours.
We have both traditional and more informal large weddings, with options available across peak summer dates and quieter midweek celebrations. For couples wanting complete privacy, exclusive use is available - giving you the entire hotel and all 32 bedrooms for 24 hours.

The Signature Package
Our most popular package for larger, more traditional wedding days. Designed for weddings of scale, with pricing structured across guest numbers and time of year. Suitable for celebrations from 40 to 120 daytime guests, with up to 150 in the evening.

For couples looking for a less traditional structure and a more relaxed celebration. The Twilight Package focuses on the ceremony and evening party rather than a full formal day - starting later, with a more informal feel that runs until 12.30am.

Exclusive Use Weddings
Complete privacy for your wedding day. Exclusive use is an upgrade added to your chosen wedding package - it gives you the entire hotel, all 32 bedrooms on a bed and breakfast basis, closure of the house to the public for 24 hours, and complete privacy across all areas.

New Year's Eve Exclusive Use
Ring in the New Year with a new ring. A completely private celebration and an overnight stay. Exclusive use of Holdsworth House - a perfect night because the entire hotel is reserved solely for you and your guests. 80 daytime and 100 evening guests.
