Set within a historic Jacobean manor in Halifax, West Yorkshire, the house provides an established and elegant setting for weddings of scale.
Our large wedding packages are designed to offer structure where it matters, while remaining flexible enough to reflect your priorities. From guest numbers and layouts to food, timings and personal touches, our experienced wedding team works closely with you to ensure the day runs smoothly and feels considered throughout.
We host both traditional and more informal large weddings, with options available across peak summer dates and quieter midweek celebrations. If you are planning a more intimate celebration, you may also wish to explore our small wedding packages. For couples seeking complete privacy, Exclusive Use is available, allowing the entire hotel and all 32 bedrooms to be reserved solely for your wedding day.

SIGNATURE wedding PACKAGE

The Signature Package is designed for weddings of scale, with pricing structured around guest numbers and the time of year. It is suitable for celebrations from 40 to 120 daytime guests, and up to 150 evening guests, and is available throughout the year.
Midweek dates (Sunday to Thursday) are priced lower than Fridays and Saturdays, offering the same core benefits with a more budget-conscious approach, particularly for couples who are flexible on their day of the week.
Exclusive Use Weddings
Complete privacy for your wedding day.
Exclusive Use is an additional fee charged on top of your chosen wedding package. It allows you to reserve the house entirely for your wedding, creating a private, uninterrupted celebration for you and your guests.
Exclusive Use includes:
- Private hire of all 32 bedrooms on a double or twin occupancy, bed and breakfast basis
- Closure of the hotel to the public for 24 hours
- Complete privacy across all public areas, grounds, restaurant, bar and function rooms

Informal Twilight Wedding Package
For couples looking for a less traditional structure and a more relaxed celebration, our Twilight Wedding Package focuses on the ceremony and evening party rather than a full formal day.

The Twilight Wedding Package allows you to spend the morning preparing at your own pace, followed by a late afternoon ceremony and an evening celebration that runs until 12.30am. It is available throughout the year, with a minimum of 80 guests on Saturdays.
Additional guests can be added, with capacity for up to 120 daytime and 150 evening guests, making this a flexible option for couples who want atmosphere and celebration without a full traditional schedule.
