Freshly prepared and handmade by our award-winning chefs. Canapés are served after your marriage ceremony to keep your wedding guests' hunger at bay before your main wedding reception meal. Choose from a selection of hot and cold canapés.

Your main wedding reception meal is the 'wedding breakfast' because it is the first meal after your marriage. A good selection of vegetarian, fish and meat dishes are available. Ask us about our vegan choices too.

We run a fresh banqueting service, which means we plate and serve your food as soon as it is freshly cooked (rather than reheating it). It's the only way to guarantee the best flavours and ingredients cooked to perfection.

Choose from mouthwatering starters, hearty soups, palate-cleansing sorbets, mains, desserts, cheese platters and even our speciality crumbles! Round your menu off with teas and coffee and a sweet chocolate or petits fours.

Evening Party Menu

Our selection for your evening reception includes fantastic hot and cold buffet ideas, juicy pork rolls and a fantastic barbecue option.

Wine List

As one of Yorkshire's top wedding venues, it's no surprise that Holdsworth House stocks a fabulous selection of wine.

Guided by our Master of Wine, our wedding collection ensures your guests – whether wine connoisseurs or not – will be impressed with your choice of red, white and sparkling wines.

If you're unsure where to start, we offer drinks packages that offer balance of flavour that will complement most reception menus, the season and guests' tastes.

Email us for our full wedding wine list or see the above wedding packs for our drinks packages.

Room Hire Costs

If you are building your own package rather than one of our readymade packages, you need to include room hire charges in your budget.
