Most people are here for about ninety minutes with a 60-minute ritual; nobody is hurried out of the lounge.
- Arrive at reception fifteen minutes earlyPark at the door, free. We walk you over to The Farmhouse through the gardens.

Three massages, none of them rushed
Sixty minutes is the treatment; ninety adds the face and scalp, or the back, depending on the ritual. All three use the oil you chose on arrival.
The Grounding Ritual
Long, flowing strokes down the full length of the body, with time spent on the back and the places that hold tension. The one to book if you are wound tight or your head will not stop. The 90-minute adds a face Gua Sha and a scalp massage.

Face, neck, décolleté and scalp: a slow facial massage with Gua Sha that works on tightness, eye strain, headaches, jaw tension and sinuses. The 90-minute adds a proper back massage.

Irish for “take it softly”: a full body massage with aromatherapy and breathwork, slow and rhythmical, meditative rather than deep. You choose the oil. The 90-minute adds a face Gua Sha and a scalp massage.

The Muscle Recovery Ritual
Firm, flowing and rhythmical, for muscles that have been overworked: 60 minutes on the back of the body, 90 for the whole of it. Eases aches and stiffness and gets the circulation going.

The Salt Stone Ritual
A full body massage with warm, mineral-rich Himalayan salt stones, which do some of the work on the tight spots. The 90-minute adds a foot bath and breathwork, or a face Gua Sha and scalp massage.

The Comforting Ritual
A grounding, intuitive massage for the shoulders, back, hips and lower legs as the body changes. Eases the aches, helps with sleep. Suitable while breastfeeding too. The 90-minute adds a face Gua Sha and a scalp massage.

Thirty minutes more, or the whole afternoon
- A 30-minute add-on to any ritual, £25 each: a mini facial; back, neck and shoulders; hands and arms; feet; abdomen
- A glass of Prosecco in the lounge, £8.25
- Turn your treatment into a half day: the welcome, the lounge, the eye mask and lunch added on. £45 with a 60-minute ritual, £60 with a 90, £80 with the 120-minute ritual

What should we wear?
Whatever is comfortable; you change into a robe and slippers when you arrive, and there is a changing room with a toilet at The Farmhouse. No pool, so no swimwear needed for a treatment or a spa day; for the sauna bring swimwear or use a towel. Leave valuables at home or in your room, as there are no lockers.
Are the treatments for everyone?
Yes. Every ritual on the menu suits men and women; the only ones with a condition attached are the two pregnancy rituals.
Can we ask for a particular therapist?
Yes, add the name in the booking notes when you book online, or tell us on the phone. We will do our best; it depends on the day.
What if we have a health condition, or are pregnant?
Tell us before you come, on the consultation form you fill in when you book, and Claire, the Spa Manager, will ring if there is anything to talk through. Some rituals are not suitable in pregnancy or with certain conditions; the two pregnancy rituals and the facials usually are, from the second trimester. Please note that there are steps into The Farmhouse and up to the treatment rooms.
Can we book more than one treatment, or book for two?
You can book consecutive treatments for yourself online. For two of you, book one each (each person needs their own booking) and add a note that you are together, or ring 01422 240024 and we will put you side by side in Mallow and Thyme.
How do we pay, and what if we need to cancel?
Treatments and spa days are paid in full when you book, by card, unless they are part of a hotel package or paid with a voucher. The cancellation terms are shown before you pay; if your plans change, ring us as early as you can on 01422 240024 and we will do what we can with the diary.
Is there an age limit?
The Farmhouse is for guests aged 18 and over.
How do we use a gift voucher?
Ring 01422 240024 with the voucher number and we book you in against it. Vouchers are for any treatment, spa day or amount, and last twelve months. Buy one here.
