For the day, The Farmhouse closes to everyone but your party. The spa team plan it round your numbers so everyone has their treatment with time in the lounge either side, and the kitchen sends lunch over when you want it.

The afternoon that does not involve a minibus. Treatments for everyone, fizz in the lounge, lunch in the garden if the weather is kind, and the hotel next door for dinner and beds. Dogs, children and partners can be left at the house.

The bridal party, a two-minute walk from the bridal suite, with the hair and make-up schedule worked round the treatments. The morning after works too, when everyone needs it most. The spa team and your wedding coordinator plan it together.
Baby showers
The Comforting and Restorative rituals for the mother-to-be, the full menu for everyone else, pregnancy teas and proper cake. Quieter than a restaurant, and nobody has to drive home straight after.

How many of us can there be?
From two of you upwards. Up to four, a spa day for your number is usually the simplest answer; beyond that, private hire is the way to have the place to yourselves, and the spa team plans the day round your numbers so everyone gets their treatment with time in the lounge either side.
What does private hire cost?
It depends on how many of you there are and what you choose, so the spa team quotes rather than the website: a treatment each, lunch, drinks, the sauna, any extras. Ring 01422 240024 or email with the date and the numbers and you will have a figure.
Can we bring our own drinks or food?
The Farmhouse is part of a licensed hotel, so the drinks and the food come from us: Prosecco, cocktails, lager and soft drinks, a buffet or a one-course lunch with sweet treats, and pre-ordered drinks packages if you want to keep it simple. Tell us about allergies when you book.
Can the bridal party have it on the wedding morning?
Yes, and the morning after. The Farmhouse is a two-minute walk from the bridal suite, and the spa team are used to working round a hair and make-up schedule. Talk to your wedding coordinator and the spa team together.
Can we add the sauna?
Yes, it is in the suite next to the lounges, and on a private hire day it is yours along with everything else. Sessions are an hour for up to four at a time, so the spa team will slot people in round the treatments.
Can children come?
The Farmhouse is for guests aged 18 and over, including on private hire days.
How far ahead should we book?
Weekends go first. A few weeks is usually enough for a midweek day; for a Saturday, or a hen party in the summer, the earlier the better.
Do we have to be staying at the hotel?
No. The Farmhouse is open to everyone, and most of the people in the lounge on any given day have driven over for the afternoon. Hotel guests simply have the shortest walk back to bed.
