From from £32.95 per person (plus room hire charge) we can allocate you a fabulous private dining room. You can dress the room with your own decorations, such as table confetti, bunting and balloons You’ll have enough sandwiches, pretty homemade patisserie treats and refreshing tea/coffee to feed all your guests, but there's plenty more we can do to make it extra special.

Funeral Teas, Memorials and Wakes
For a top-class venue in West Yorkshire to celebrate the life of a recently passed loved one, Holdsworth House is the perfect choice.
Our beautiful and uplifting surroundings, award-winning food and unobtrusive, traditional service will help mark the passing of someone special in the most memorable and special way – for a small event of a few close family and friends or a larger gathering.
You can choose a hot or cold buffet selection, a wonderful restaurant meal or a seasonal afternoon tea for mourners. Or if you have something else in mind, let us know and we will be happy to work with your ideas.

Private Dining Rooms
The Ayrton Room was originally a first floor bedroom. The Beatles slept here in 1964 and Jayne Mansfield in 1967. The De Aldworth Room next door is where the Fab Four and Brian Epstein took room service on John Lennon’s 24th birthday. These two small party rooms are ideal for 10-20 family and friends when you want to get together
The Abraham Brigg Room is a ground-floor room for afternoon tea events and wedding ceremonies. It can host up to 80 for a wedding ceremony or 20 - 50 for an afternoon tea gathering. The Stuart Room - the main banqueting suite - has a private bar, cloakroom facilities, dance floor and adjoining Colonnade Courtyard for events up to 150 guests.
The Gazebo, beside the sunken Parterre garden, is a small room for totally unique space for private dining for up to four people.

Room Hire covers the set up and breakdown of your preferred room layout, a dedicated event coordinator to manage all the the arrangements, staffing costs to ensure you and your guests want for nothing during your visit, use of all the facilities, WiFi at Holdsworth House and any AV hire that we can offer. HOST A ROAST AT HOLDSWORTH HOUSE
Gather your favourite people for a private roast lunch or dinner in the elegant surroundings of our 17th-century manor. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, christening, anniversary or just fancy a good old get-together, our “Host a Roast” experience is a deliciously different way to dine.

HOLDSWORTH HOUSE PIE COLLECTION
There’s nothing more comforting than a perfectly baked pie – and at Holdsworth House, we’ve raised it to an art form. Our Pie Collection champions bold flavours, Yorkshire produce and traditional favourites.
Each pie is hearty, satisfying and served with seasonal accompaniments. Tuck into one of these mouth-watering options (ask our team about pairing wines):
Chicken Pot Pie:
Tender pieces of free-range chicken, slow-cooked ham, leek and mushroom in a rich creamy sauce, all tucked beneath a golden pastry lid. Classic comfort, reimagined.
Cow Pie:
A meaty masterpiece made with slow-braised Yorkshire beef, served with glazed carrots and a deep, glossy red wine gravy. Robust, warming and utterly satisfying.
Holdsworth House Fish Pie:
A medley of fish in a velvety sauce, topped with creamy Wensleydale mash for a proper Yorkshire finish. Traditional, indulgent and full of flavour.
Shepherd’s Pie:
Minced lamb in a rich pan gravy, layered under a blanket of buttery creamed potato. Rustic and generous – a true taste of home.
Roasted Onion, Cheese & Potato Pie (v)
A vegetarian showstopper. Sweet roasted onion, mature cheese and sliced potato, crowned with flaky puff pastry. Earthy, cheesy, delicious.
