What to expect at our wedding show round
A wedding show round at Holdsworth House in Halifax lasts around 60 minutes. It is conducted by one of our senior managers and is designed to show you all the hotel areas. It's pretty informal and there's absolutely no sales pressure.
You'll see all areas of our wedding venue: the house, the gardens, ceremony rooms – including our licensed outdoor spaces, reception rooms and available bedrooms. We can also show you photos of the rooms set up in different layouts, so you can begin to imagine your own wedding here.
Holdsworth House has been hosting weddings for 60 years and our wedding team has an average 15 years of service here. So, we can advise on the best advice, e.g. what's the best time to get married, when is the best time to serve your wedding breakfast, are the speeches best before or after your meal, what if I don't want speeches... There's lots you might want to ask and we're happy to help.
Over tea or coffee, we’ll discuss your individual wedding ideas and requirements, and explain the booking process. You’ll then be able to leave Holdsworth House Hotel with a clear idea of what we offer and how we can work for you on your special day. You can even pencil a date for two weeks with no payment or obligation.
