"My Perfect Wedding"
TripAdvisor 8 March 2020
"I'd just like to say a special thank you to Tracey, Ryan, Theo, Dan, Jamie-Leigh, Ben, Will and Alex. You were all absolutely amazing and I can not thank you enough. Tracey was incredible and made me feel at ease when I was at my most anxious..any worries I had for the day she took care of without hesitation and the team went the extra mile. Claire our wedding manager was incredible and extremely organised, keeping us in the loop at every stage of the process. It was the perfect wedding for us and a day we will never forget! Definitely recommend this beautiful place and the staff are a credit to the hotel"

"I would like to commend both Joshua and Chris who have assisted us in organising our small wedding at Holdsworth House. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I’m looking forward to our menu tasting, discussing wine menus, and of course the big day itself, the first steps have been amazing , thank you"
"Excellent Wedding Venue"

"Our daughter got married here recently and what a fantastic day it was. From start to finish everything ran like clockwork and was made stress free by all the staff, especially the Mistress of ceremonies who was always in control of everything. The food was superb also as was the customer service. Just excellent in every way."
Wedding Letter January 2020
Just a quick note from me to say a huge thank you to you and all the staff at Holdsworth House who gave us a fantastic day on 2nd January! Both Lesley and I loved the day, I had high expectations, and they were amazingly surpassed!
Until that day, Holdsworth House had hosted the best wedding I had ever been to in the UK, and had only been beaten by one held in Segovia. I may be biased, but I think ours beat it.
We have been inundated with messages about how good the day was. Staff, food and venue. Tracy and all the others in attendance throughout the day were outstanding!
Thank you all very much! All our best wishes for 2020 and beyond!

"This venue is amazing"

"This venue is amazing whether you have your ceremony inside or out. We were lucky enough to have great weather and we had a small intimate ceremony on the front lawn under the gazebo. I cannot fault the staff from the moment we looked round, right up to the day we felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The team there are fantastic. I would definitely recommend this lovely venue to anyone, they cater for weddings big or small! It's just a shame the day goes so quickly, I wish I could do it all again it was perfect."

"We were looking for a venue for our wedding that was comfortable looking after a small party of only 10 people. Holdsworth House delivered in every way possible right from our first meeting with them.
The staff at the hotel truly understand about hospitality and customer care. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything asked for was always possible and do-able. Such a refreshing change in attitude. The fact we were only a small party made no difference to the team.
We held our ceremony in the Hotel's 'Stone Gazebo' located in the corner of their fantastic garden. Don't make the mistake of thinking of a garden gazebo! The hotel is set in its own grounds and the gardens to the rear are lovely particularly on a sunny day. There is so much history around the hotel you can while away your time just reading some of the back history of the place!
It is well worth paying the extra to have one of the suites as they offer much more space for a small extra cost per day. The food on our Wedding day and at breakfast each morning was superb and freshly prepared. Compliments to the catering team.
If you have been watching Gentleman Jack on BBC then there is the added bonus of Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister, being only five miles down the road. Well worth a visit as well.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our Wedding and stay at Holdsworth House and would highly recommend the Hotel and staff to anyone.
PS: Don't forget to say hello to Eric the Hotel cat!"

"This is a lovely place to get married. We came for a friend’s wedding and it was faultless, the service ran smoothly and the food was lovely. We didn’t stay over as we live local however we had a peak in a courtyard room and it looked lovely."
