A WEDDING VENUE LIKE NOWHERE ELSE
An historic Jacobean manor, Holdsworth House is hidden from view by three acres of beautiful gardens. You'll find it packed full of character with so many historic architectural features and period quirks. The house dates back to 1633 and the facade is a photographer’s dream whichever season you get married in. Inside there are 38 bedrooms for your guests to stay over and our 2 AA Rosette kitchen team is ready to cook your wedding breakfast fresh, for maximum flavour and quality.
"The venue is amazing. It has character and charm. The food is excellent and fully deserves its rating. The wedding day was amazing. Ran beautifully and all staff involved made it a truly special day.” Tripadvisor, January 2018

Children don’t count for minimum numbers in our wedding packages – these have to be adult places. But children are counted in your final numbers to ensure everyone has enough space at the dining tables. We can fit up to 120 people for a reception or 150 in the evening. Children can dine from our special children’s wedding menu or have half portions of the adult meal. Any child taking a full adult meal will be counted as adults and charged the full rate.
Yes, you will be allocated a special wedding rate for your party, which is valid up to 6 weeks out and only bookable direct. Rooms are sold on a first come first serve basis and the rate is available up to six weeks before your wedding date. Within six weeks of your wedding date, if your guests haven’t yet booked, they will be required to pay our Best Available Rate, which could be higher than the wedding rate but – if booked direct - is always £5 cheaper than any other website.
