Not a ballroom with half the tables removed - a Jacobean manor house where 20 guests feels full, and 60 feels like a celebration. Our small wedding packages cover everything from an afternoon tea for a handful of friends to a full wedding breakfast with a private dining room and evening reception.

Traditional Small Wedding Package
A full wedding day in a proper setting - ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and evening celebration - just without the big numbers. Holdsworth House was built for gatherings this size. The rooms are the right scale, the gardens feel private, and the team gives every couple the same attention whether there are 20 guests or 60.

Small & Informal Wedding Package
Not every couple wants a traditional wedding breakfast with a seating plan and speeches. This package is for the ones who would rather have a relaxed afternoon - a ceremony, canapés and drinks, time in the gardens, and an evening party. All the important bits, none of the formality.

A small wedding venue for 30, 40 or 50 guests
Twenty guests fill one of our private dining rooms; thirty to sixty take the Stuart Room, with the courtyard and walled gardens for drinks and photographs. Whatever the number, the ceremony can be indoors or at the 17th century stone gazebo, and 32 bedrooms are here for anyone staying over. Our small wedding packages run from 20 to 60 guests, with every price online.
More intimate options
For celebrations with fewer than 30 guests, these packages offer something a little different - from a private dining room to an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, or an elopement for just the two of you.
Just Good Friends Package
A full wedding breakfast for up to 20 guests in a private dining room. Ceremony, drinks, three-course meal, and the option to add an evening celebration for up to 120 more.

Vintage Tea Party Package
A relaxed afternoon tea celebration with vintage china, handmade sandwiches, scones, and cakes. Served in a private room or in the gardens - no seating plan, no formality.

Just The Two of Us Package
An elopement package for couples who want to keep things beautifully simple. A midweek ceremony, champagne, an overnight stay, and breakfast the next morning.

Wedding open day, Sunday 22 November
12 noon to 3.30pm. Wander the house and gardens at your own pace, see the hotel and function rooms dressed for a wedding, taste our canapés and meet the wedding team. Free, and you can hold a date with no obligation.
Tuesday 20 October, 5pm to 8pm
Free. Call in any time and stay as long as you like, no appointment needed. A glass of fizz on arrival.
