Our first wedding open day of 2022 was a huge success. We had over 70 couples visit the hotel across the event, giving everyone space to view the rooms at their leisure. If you missed the event or wish to return for a no-obligation, one-to-one meeting, you can make your appointment online.
Big thanks to Halifax’s top venue stylist Pink Blossom Weddings, for creating some beautiful table displays and room decor. At the event, we chatted to business owner and stylist Cheryl to learn about the latest trends in wedding decor. Cheryl said, “There are always new trends emerging. At the moment it is quite minimalist. I’m seeing fewer large table centres and less rustic design ideas, and more couples favouring sleek candle and flower combinations.
“Having said that, I don’t always encourage couples to go down the ‘latest trends’ route as it might not be right for them. I like to find out what couples do and don’t like. Plus, the decor has to work with the venue as well as the season. Each wedding is unique and so my ideas are usually bespoke. That way people don’t end up paying for decor they don’t need.”
