Our Brontë Country Escape is a short break designed for guests who want to explore Haworth, the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the surrounding moors, with everything arranged for them, an experience recently highlighted by British Vogue in its guide to Brontë Country.
With free on-site hotel parking, Holdsworth House is just a 20-minute drive from Haworth. The Escape combines an overnight stay with breakfast, entry to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, a souvenir guide and a walking map of Haworth, allowing you to experience Brontë country without needing to plan each detail yourself.

*Please make yourself aware of the Brontë Parsonage Museum opening times before booking your break; museum entry tickets can only be issued for open days.
Holdsworth House cannot be held responsible for last-minute Museum closures; in the event of unexpected Museum closures you will be refunded the cost of the entry ticket by Holdsworth House.
Additional Brontë Parsonage Museum passes can be purchased on arrival at the Museum.
- Prices vary according to date of stay and bedroom type selected. Payment for the full amount is taken at the time of reservation.
- In the event of cancellation, a 100% refund (less £40 to cover the Parsonage Museum passes) applies when cancellation is 7 days or more prior to arrival. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.
- All extras taken at the hotel are payable by you on departure.
Brontë Parsonage Museum pass important details: In order for Holdsworth House to reserve your Brontë Parsonage Museum passes, your name and email address will be shared with the Brontë Parsonage Museum and subject to their data processing and privacy policy; if you do not agree to this please call 01422 240024 to make your Brontë Country Escape booking. Please note the Museum entry pass does not include priority access; guests may be required to join a queue in the gardens and we advise you bring suitable outdoor clothing accordingly. The Museum pass does not cover any transfer from the hotel nor parking costs in Haworth. There is no luggage store at Brontë Parsonage Museum and dogs are not permitted inside (you are welcome to store any luggage at Holdsworth House); please see the Museum frequently asked questions for more details.

Dogs are welcome at Holdsworth House. Please note that dogs are not allowed inside the Brontë Parsonage Museum but are welcome on the Brontë Moors, on a lead.

Halifax's spectacular Georgian courtyard doubled as Moscow in Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion (2023, episode 1), starring Samuel L Jackson.
Filming also took place around the town centre and at nearby Dean Clough mill courtyards.
