Bronte country and Cragg vale Coiners country are also within easy reach by car and offer miles of moorlands, countryside and tracks to explore with your dog.
The National Trust's Gibson Mill & Hardcastle Crags near Hebden Bridge offer a lovely woodland and river trail (full day out) with dogs on leads.
The Piece Hall in Halifax, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway near Bradford and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at West Bretton are all dog friendly attractions in West Yorkshire.
