If you missed the Holdsworth House wedding fair on 19th February then come along to our wedding evening on Thursday 22nd March. This event is by appointment only, but allows you to see the hotel set up for a real wedding, plus you get to try our amazing food as it includes a special 3-course meal for £20 per person.
One of our expert team will show you round the hotel; the rooms we use for civil marriages and partnerships, the wedding reception room, the bedrooms, lounges, hall, restaurant and the gardens. We can take time to discuss any available dates, to make a booking and talk about your own ideas for your big day. There’s photo albums of weddings that have taken place here before so you might pick up some new ideas.
Appointments are from 4pm, then you’ve got time to sit and chat between yourselves and enjoy a lovely seasonal three-course meal. Our one-off menu celebrates great Yorkshire rhubarb, or you can dine from the a la carte for the usual price.

STARTERS
Fresh mackerel fillet with roasted rhubarb, crusty bread
Fresh herb salad of Yorkshire black pudding and chorizo
MAINS
Roasted pork chop, rhubarb chutney, creamy mash and curly kale
Roasted pollock fillet, squash puree, herb gnocchi, buttered spinach
DESSERTS
Warm rhubarb queen of puddings
Selection of Yorkshire cheese, rhubarb chutney, crackers and homemade bread.

There’s no need to rush off after the wedding event. Stay over in one of our peaceful Snug hotel rooms from just £65 a room – that’s two people sharing, room only. Include a fully cooked breakfast too for £85 total per room. Or upgrade to a House double or a Suite for another £10.
