Every great restaurant is known for a great dish, at Holdsworth House it’s our steaks. We buy most beef from Yorkshire farms and we dry age it in our chilled larder for at least 28 days to give the ultimate taste and texture. As a result, we have some excellent reviews.

Choose from Fillet, Rib-eye, Sirloin or Rump. Chef Simon likes to buy Hereford beef from the Duke of Devonshire’s Estate at Bolton Abbey – this Hereford Cattle is a very lean type, making sure you get the best quality.

Or tell us how big a piece you want and how you want it cooking, then just pay by the ounce. Steaks are served with Holdsworth House chips, French fries or confit ratte potatoes, roast plum tomato, field mushroom & watercress. You can add a sauce – Béarnaise, Yorkshire Blue cheese, Beurre Maître d’hôtel or pink peppercorn & Pommery mustard de Meaux sauce – for £3.50.
