Located on the urban fringe of Halifax, the Restaurant at Holdsworth House offers modern home-cooked food. The three adjoining, beautifully furnished rooms overlook the gardens – The Stone Room, The Paneled Room and the Mullioned Room. Each offers a unique atmosphere, a lovely original fireplace and stone mullioned windows to the outside world.  Both the a la carte and bar menus are available.

Our motto is fresh and local. We buy produce from Yorkshire suppliers and prepare all meals fresh. We want our food to speak for itself; great flavours, fresh ingredients all made with passion.

OPENING TIMES – RESTAURANT AND BAR

LUNCH: Everyday 12 noon – 2pm

AFTERNOON TEA: Sunday – Thursday 3.00pm – 5.30pm

DINNER: Everyday 6pm – 9.30pm (last orders)

The Restaurant is open everyday except when a wedding takes Exclusive Use; we’ll endeavor to update this website on these rare occasions. Most weddings take place in the self-contained Stuart Room, leaving the restaurant uninterrupted in the evening. If you’d prefer, The Long Bar offers a light and airy atmosphere with a more relaxed seating layout.
