    At Holdsworth House you’ll enjoy the best possible breakfast incorporating ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

    MADE IN YORKSHIRE

    Our sausages are made locally in Borough Bridge using local pork.
    Our black pudding is made in Huddersfield.
    Our eggs are local and free range and are supplied by Delifresh, Bradford.
    Our muesli is mixed to our own secret recipe in the Holdsworth kitchen.

    Our typical menu would include:

    Cereal selection, dried fruits, nuts & seeds, fresh fruit & juices, selection of yogurts, croissants, pain au chocolate…

    And the hot selection:

    Full Yorkshire breakfast or full vegetarian breakfast, grilled Isle of Lewis kippers
    Dropped scone, maple syrup & blueberries, honey roasted ham, grilled tomato, poached hens egg.

    All served with:
    freshly brewed coffee, a selection of quality teas together with toast and preserves

    Our breakfast is cooked to order 8.30am-10.00am.

    Earlier breakfasts can be arranged or a ‘breakfast on the go’ can be packed up for you if you’ve to dash off to a meeting.  If you want breakfast in your room, that’s OK, just let us know the night before or place the breakfast card outside your room before going to bed.

    All rooms in this top hotel are individually decorated, full of character and charm,  contain comfortable beds and can be for double or single occupancy. Extra Z-beds for children are available by request and we can provide cots and bedding too for babies.  For families with older children, we also have interconnecting rooms which offer a little privacy whilst keeping everyone nearby.     For the ultimate in romance or luxury, the suites at Holdsworth House are beautifully decorated and furnished, all featuring a luxurious double half-tester bed. Suites are fabulous for families as some have sofa beds in the sitting area, which are ideal for older children.

    4 out of our 5 suites are split level with sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor with a pretty galleried bedroom above.

    Popular with business guests traveling for business in Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield, and of course for those celebrating that special occasion.

    We also have a number of four-poster rooms, including our exceptional Bridal Suite where there is plenty of space for hanging bridal gowns and suits.

Bedroom Facilities & Information

All rooms are ground or first floor, with single, double or twin accommodation. Each is equipped with direct telephone, flat screen multi channel TV, hairdryer, iron & board and welcome tea/coffee trays. En suite bathrooms are finished with individual toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes on request.

Cots are available at a charge of £10 per night, along with z-beds for children 11 years or under at £15 per night and are only available in our Superior rooms.

Guests are welcome to bring their dogs to stay in their rooms. There is a charge of £10 per dog per night. Guests are asked not to allow their dogs into the dining areas of the hotel and not to leave them unattended in their rooms.

We were thrilled to have our AA merit award increased to 86% in their recent review, particularly as the national average for 3 star hotels is 55% – 69%. It’s always an anxious time when ‘An Inspector Calls’ but here is a little of what he said
